Hailed as ‘Banksy meets Basquiat’ by Vogue’s International Editor Suzy Menkes, Bradley Theodore’s bold paintbrush strokes and stripped back skeletal figures have cemented him as one of the leading artists of his generation. Now, reuniting with Rolls Royce for a third time at the world’s greatest celebration of motorsport and car culture – Goodwood Festival of Speed 2019 – Theodore will display a brand-new body of works in the Home of Rolls Royce VIP area.
Throughout the duration of the four-day festival running from the 4th – 7th of July, Theodore will also produce a live painting from scratch on an 8-metre canvas; allowing visitors to witness the unique energy behind his creative process in person. Marking the third occasion Theodore has collaborated with Rolls Royce, this year’s festival will see him push the boundaries of live art, ensuring an unmissable display. Held in the beautiful parkland surrounding Goodwood House, the Festival of Speed is motorsport’s ultimate summer garden party, an intoxicating celebration of the world’s most glamorous sport. From the intrepid early pioneers to today’s high-tech heroes, Goodwood brings together the most celebrated and successful racing machines, brands, innovators and artists who have raised the bar in their respective fields.
