Following a highly successful first year, on 8th December 2016 we opened our second London gallery space in Mayfair’s Shepherd Market, at 5a Shepherd Street.
Our gallery complements the existing array of galleries, boutiques and restaurants in and around the lively Shepherd Market area. The gallery’s official opening took place on Thursday 8th December 2016, with Elizabeth Hurley switching on the Christmas lights during the Shepherd Market Christmas party.
The Shepherd Street gallery features work from the Maddox Gallery roster of artists, including work by Bradley Theodore, Michael Moebius, Dan Baldwin, David Yarrow, Harland miller & The Connor Brothers.
Often referred to as ‘Mayfair’s original village’ Shepherd Market contains creative boutiques and restaurants that currently populate the charming Central London piazza.
Maddox Gallery Managing Director and Curator James Nicholls commented, “Following a hugely successful and busy first year, we are absolutely delighted to be able to expand and open our second Maddox Gallery site in Shepherd Street. 2016 has been such a great success for Maddox Gallery and we are now very much looking forward to opening the new space and introducing this historical London location to the Maddox Gallery roster of artists.”
