Maddox Gallery is delighted to confirm that its Managing Director and Curator James Nicholls is to become art critic for London Live TV. Nicholls, an international art industry expert, is a patron of the National Portrait Gallery and the Royal Academy and is also consultant art expert to British Airways. Nicholls will join ‘London Go’ presenter Luke Blackall for a fortnightly round-up of London’s thriving art scene, reporting back on the most exciting, ground breaking and newsworthy exhibitions across the capital.
James Nicholls comments, “I have always enjoyed my time appearing as a guest with Luke and the team on London Live so I was most pleased to be asked to become the official Art Critic in residence for London’s first 24 hour entertainment channel. I’ll be visiting commercial galleries independent exhibitions, institutions and pop up spaces, scouring the capital for the most interesting art exhibitions and I look forward to sharing my findings with London Live TV audiences. London is a great world leader in art and we want to share with viewers how accessible it is and where they can enjoy it.”
